Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation – und in Übereinstimmung mit den Anordnungen der Bundesregierung und des Freistaates Bayern – hat der Vorstand der Royal Bavarian Cutters entschieden, die Show im April abzusagen.
Wir haben lange gehofft, die Show doch noch in irgendeiner Form durchführen zu können, doch durch die Entwicklung der letzten Tage müssen wir die Show schweren Herzens absagen.
Trotz der Liebe zu unserem Sport hat die Gesundheit von uns allen Vorrang. Die Royal Bavarian Cutters möchten ihren Teil dazu beitragen, dass wir alle so schnell wie möglich zur Normalität zurückkehren können.

9. 4. 20 - WRWS/AQHA - Digitale Kopien der originalen „AQHA Registration Certificates“.

Digital Copy of Original AQHA Registration Certificates.

We know the excitement that you experience when registering or purchasing an American Quarter Horse is the best feeling in the world; it can only be rivaled by receiving the horse’s official AQHA certificate of registration in the mail.

We are excited to announce a new added member benefit for American Quarter Horse owners! Effective April 2, once the AQHA paperwork is completed for a registration, transfer, duplicate or corrected certificate, owners will now automatically receive an emailed digital copy of the original registration certificate, if AQHA has an email address on file for the owner.

The original AQHA registration certificate, which is still considered the official AQHA paperwork, will continue to be mailed directly to the owner. AQHA will still require the original printed AQHA registration certificate for certain AQHA business, including transfers of ownership in the future. AQHA will not accept the digital copy of the registration certificate to process a transfer of ownership. Once local, state and federal mandates are lifted regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), please confirm with managers of future events whether they will accept the digital copy or if the original mailed AQHA registration certificate is required.

If you do not have an email address on file, simply update your AQHA member account information. Read more for information on how to update your account.

Unwavering Strength
Doug Smith has the eyes of a boxer. Those blue-green eyes reflect the intensity of a lifetime handling horses, handling people and handling adversity. On February 26, 2015, an accident paralyzed Doug’s legs. For most people, that might have been a knockout punch. Doug Smith got up.

A Master Maker
Inside an unremarkable dirt-floored workshop on the windblown streets of Pampa, Texas, 83-year-old Billy Klapper fires up a coal forge. Surrounded by a wood-burning stove that fights off the February Texas Panhandle chill and a crowded collection of shop equipment—some of it dating back to the early part of the 1900s—Billy takes plain pieces of steel bar stock and goes to work.

8. 4. 20 - WRWS/Gießener Allgemeine – Autofahrer rammt Anhänger/Pferd verletzt sich.

30.000 Euro Sachschaden und ein verletztes Pferd: So lautete die Bilanz eines Auffahrunfalls auf dem Gießener Ring am Sonntag Nachmittag.Der Pferdeanhänger ist beim Unfall umgestürzt (© Constantin Hoppe)
Gegen 15 Uhr wollte ein 21-jähriger Gießener mit einem Mercedes samt Pferdeanhänger und zwei Pferden von der B49 kommend auf die A485 in Richtung Norden abbiegen. Ein ihm folgender 60-jähriger Mann aus Braunfels bemerkte den Mercedes samt Anhänger wohl zu spät und rammte den Anhänger mit seinem VW-Caddy.
Der Anhänger wurde in die Leitplanke geschleudert und stürzte anschließend um. Glücklicherweise verlief der Unfall ansonsten glimpflich: Ein Pferd wurde bei dem Sturz verletzt; beide Tiere ließen sich an der Unfallstelle ohne größere Probleme in einen weiteren Anhänger verladen und von der Unfallstelle abtransportieren.
Die Fahrer der beiden Autos blieben unverletzt. Die Auffahrt musste für eine Stunde gesperrt werden.

Information and Coronavirus (COVID-19) Resources.

As an Association of horsemen and -women, we know a significant number of our members are professionals within the equine industry and small-business owners. Not only are our daily lives being affected by the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic worldwide, but also our livelihoods.

We wanted to share some great resources for small-business owners as we all navigate this rapidly evolving situation.

On March 27, President Trump signed the third economic stimulus package into law. The total amount of money going in the fund is $350 billion. Any business with less than 500 employees is eligible for the loan. Self-employed individuals, independent contractors and sole proprietors are also eligible. The loans are federally guaranteed and tax free. All loan payments are deferred for one year.

The U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business & Entrepreneurship recently began sharing information that will guide the programs created through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES). View the guide here. We also encourage you to visit the U.S. Small Business Administration at www.sba.gov for additional coronavirus small-business guidance and loan resources.
